Product Safety & Operating Responsibility

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

Kiddie Jumps manufactures and sells commercial inflatable products. We do not provide rental services, event staffing, event supervision, or on-site operation unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Inflatable products can create risk if they are not properly installed, anchored, supervised, maintained, cleaned, stored, inspected, and operated. By purchasing, receiving, or using a Kiddie Jumps product, the buyer accepts responsibility for safe and lawful use of the product.

Buyer and Operator Responsibility

The buyer, owner, operator, rental company, event company, school, organization, or end user is responsible for:

  • Reading and following all instructions, warnings, labels, manuals, and safety information

  • Training employees, attendants, and operators before use

  • Providing trained adult supervision at all times while the inflatable is in use

  • Inspecting the product before each use

  • Keeping users within appropriate age, size, weight, and capacity limits

  • Preventing overcrowding, rough play, flips, wrestling, climbing on walls, or unsafe behavior

  • Monitoring weather conditions before and during use

  • Removing users and deflating the unit when conditions become unsafe

  • Keeping blowers, cords, stakes, straps, and anchoring points properly secured

  • Keeping the inflatable clean, dry, and properly stored

  • Obtaining all required permits, inspections, licenses, approvals, and certifications

  • Complying with all local, state, and federal laws, rules, codes, and regulations

Weather and Wind Safety

Inflatables should not be used during unsafe weather conditions, including high winds, storms, lightning, heavy rain, flooding, or other hazardous conditions.

The buyer/operator is responsible for monitoring weather conditions and making safe operating decisions. Kiddie Jumps is not responsible for damage, injury, loss, or claims resulting from weather conditions, wind, improper anchoring, or failure to stop operation when conditions become unsafe.

Adult Supervision Required

Commercial inflatables should be supervised by trained and responsible adults at all times while in use. Unsupervised use can result in injury, property damage, or unsafe conditions.

The buyer/operator is responsible for ensuring that attendants understand the product, enforce safety rules, monitor users, and stop operation when necessary.

Inspection Before Use

Before each use, the buyer/operator should inspect the inflatable and related equipment for:

  • Tears, punctures, or holes

  • Loose or damaged seams

  • Damaged anchor points

  • Missing or damaged straps

  • Blower issues

  • Electrical cord issues

  • Wet or slippery areas

  • Debris or sharp objects

  • Improper inflation

  • Trip hazards

  • Any condition that may make use unsafe

Do not use a product that appears damaged, unsafe, improperly inflated, unstable, or in need of repair.

Cleaning, Drying, and Storage

The buyer/operator is responsible for properly cleaning, drying, folding, transporting, and storing the product.

Improper cleaning, moisture, mildew, dragging, poor storage, heat exposure, chemical exposure, or rough handling can damage the product and may void warranty coverage.

Permits, Inspections, and Legal Compliance

Rules for inflatable amusement products may vary by city, county, state, venue, school district, insurer, or event organizer.

The buyer is responsible for determining and satisfying all legal, permitting, inspection, insurance, and operational requirements that apply to the product and its use.

Kiddie Jumps does not guarantee that any product will automatically satisfy every local, state, federal, venue, insurance, or inspection requirement. Buyers should confirm requirements before purchasing and before operating any inflatable product.
